CW Environment 0.1.0-alpha85 – Validation
Date: 2026-09-11

Release focus
- Linux-first Copernicus Step-Runner with short resumable worker leases.
- Shared-hosting cron fallback with protected random token.
- Existing RAW data / manifests / remote job IDs retained for resume.
- One-year labels normalized (e.g. 2006, not 2006-2006).
- Source-plan table + Excel-compatible CSV export.
- Persistent last-transfer telemetry in night-run UI.
- No root .htaccess in module package.

Checks
- Python compile (copernicus-night-sync.py, cw_cds_client.py): OK
- PHP lint (environment.php, copernicus-night-sync.php, admin/_night-sync.php): OK
- JavaScript syntax (environment-night-sync.js): OK
- module.json parse: OK
- DACH complete plan: 310 logical packages / 92 source variables: OK
- One-year label: ERA5-Land 2006 -> "ERA5-Land · 50 Monatsvariablen · 2006": OK
- Synthetic Linux lease handoff: rc=75, 1 package complete, state preserved, handoff counter incremented: OK
- Root .htaccess absent: OK

Important scope
- Network behavior against the real CDS/ADS service cannot be fully reproduced offline.
- alpha85 is the first real shared-hosting/overnight test of the Linux lease architecture.
- A transfer that is already streaming is not yet HTTP-Range resumed across a hard process kill; validated packages and remote job IDs are resumable.
